Hi! I’m Greta! The blog is called Camp Greta because I grew up loving camp – each summer presented an opportunity to meet new people, explore, learn, and grow. Maybe you’ve had the same experience and wish to recapture that feeling?
We made the decision early-on for me to stay home (as much as possible) with our little girl. To make ends meet, I took her with me to my part-time job for the first year of her life- which was very tricky. We also made the decision to unschool our kids (future kids included), which meant that we have had to make a lot of sacrifices to make this lifestyle possible. I know what it’s like to live fully on a very tight budget and want to share with you all of my creative tips for saving money, reusing items, getting organized, having fun, and making tasty, affordable gluten-free meals for your family!
My goal is to Track My Progress to see what works to get my blog going. Hopefully I’ll get organized here and figure out this blogging thing, but for now, I’ll just keep enjoying life and posting when I’m able. Drop me a line and say ‘hi!’ Or connect with me over on Twitter and Pinterest!
My other project site is SpotActivism.com When you see an affiliate link on my site, it means that when you click through and purchase from that merchant, I (may) earn a percentage of that sale – at no additional cost to you.
